“If nothing ever changed, there’d be no butterflies”
C-H-A-N-G-E,… a scary 6 letter word that most try to avoid. Change is something that even though scary, needs to happen for things to evolve. The changing of the New Year allows for a person to have a clean slate, start brand new, and try something different.
This Saturday, I am headed to a mentoring session with my favorite photographers, Justin & Mary. I am looking forward to reflecting with them on the things that are working for my business and things that are not working. With this, I already know there will be changes to my website, changes to my prices and overall design to my company. I don’t exactly know what this will look like yet so I can’t give you an idea of what this will all entail! I am welcoming change and even looking forward to it!
My family and I will also be welcoming change with the birth of our second baby, due January 16th, 2014. We are excited, nervous and anxious about all of these changes coming this New Year. My husband will also be participating in a marathon in October and I am excited to get back into running shape as well. Change will be huge in the Keane household with a 2.5 year-old running around and a new baby!
Welcome 2014 and welcome change!
“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” -Socrates
