Dana & Erik- Tarrywile Mansion Wedding

Dana and Erik met online and chatted for a month before deciding to meet up in Grand Central Station for their first date. In Dana’s vows, she mentioned how she spotted Erik first and watched him for a minute before introducing herself… and as a wave of emotions came up on her, she almost turned back.

They had their first look on the lawn next to the mansion. Dana’s dress and veil flowed behind her as she approached Erik. When she tapped him on the shoulder to turn around, he had the sweetest reaction. He pulled her in for a kiss and then he brushed her cheek as he looked at Dana in her stunning gown.

Dana & Erik hand wrote the sweetest vows I have ever heard. There was not a dry eye in the house and anyone that has any doubt that these two are not completely meant for each other is so very wrong. They read their vows in Hungarian, a language that Erik’s grandmother hadn’t heard in a very long time. This was a beautiful surprise to her and his family and their reactions were priceless. Family from as far away as California came to support them on their perfectly, perfect wedding day.

No detail was missed in the planning for this wedding between Dana & Erik! Their hand written vows, the tree in the ceremony, the old-fashioned hankie line and perhaps the favorite detail- the 45’s that were sent to guests that had the wedding invitation on them. The best part of this awesome detail? Erik & Dana hand picked each song for their guests. When the guests arrived, they were invited to play their 45 on the record player and find out what song the couple hand picked for them! Definitely a HUGE hit at the wedding and what a sweet personalization to their wedding day!

They were surrounded by their family and friends as they recited their personalized vows under the grape arbor at Tarrywile Mansion. In their ceremony, they also “planted” a tree together (in a pot so they can take it home and complete the process) by adding dirt and watering it. Dana prepared for her wedding day with her mom and Pink Soda Blow Dry Bar. Her flowers were beautiful put together by Diane Gaudette’s team. As their wedding ceremony came to a conclusion, it was followed up with family formals on the law. Dana & Erik’s wedding was catered by Carriage House Events and Catering. The evening carried on with jams played by Paul with James Daniel Entertainment. The rain held off until after everyone was inside enjoying the party! Here are my favorites from their wedding day!
