These two met at a party, well he was in the way of watch the playoff game as she tried to watch! A friend said that they should date, Liz laughed because she couldn’t believe her friend was talking about the guy who was standing in the way of the game. Both Liz and Matt are diehard Bruins and Red Sox fans that enjoy watching the games together now. It was also bad timing for these two Bruins fans as well since it was a win-or-go-home situation that afternoon,… unfortunately, they lost 🙁

When we originally schedule their session, rain was in the forecast. We talked about just rolling with whatever comes our way and the weather is the only thing we can’t control. Well, wouldn’t you know it, it was a warm, bright, sunshiny day instead! We met up at Hopkins Vineyard, my favorite vineyard, and Matt & Liz shared a bottle of thier favorite wine…. which happens to be my favorite wine too (the one with the the sailors on the front, the cabernet sauvignon)! I had a great time laughing and hiking with them! We hiked up to the top for some stunning views before heading down back to the winery to meet up with her parents, who had come along to help with Barley, their golden retriever! We then headed over to Angevine Farm to finish up our session with more beautiful views from the top. Here are some of my favorite images from their engagement session, I can’t wait for their September 2017 wedding this year!

Kalin and Christine met at a frat party when they both attended UCONN. Neither one could have predicted that the rest of their lives started that night they met. Since graduating from UCONN, they both have local jobs that keep them close enough to campus that they could go when they’d like, but far enough that they have not been there. Fast forward to how they found me,… Christine was working as a wedding planner at a venue I was photographing a wedding at. I submitted my photos to her after the wedding was over so the venue could use them, she submitted them to be published because she loved them so much! Turns out, that resulted in one of my published weddings!

When planning for their engagement session, we were excited for a good weather day. They brought their dogs and we met at Horsebarn Hill. I have been to UCONN before to watch basketball, attend graduation and during my college career, definitely was on campus, but I have never taken the time to take a look at how beautiful it is! As we started their cloudy engagement session and our trek up to the top of Horsebarn Hill, we felt a few fat rain drops fall on our heads, but we kept walking. No sooner did we reach the top, the clouds opened up and it started to pour on us,… and I had umbrellas,… but they were in the car. The rest of the session was a wet one but they just rolled with it, flawlessly. And at the risk of of sounding corny, their love they have for one another could make the sunshine on any day! Enjoy my favorites from their rainy day engagement session with me, they rocked the weather!

Ellie and I have known one another for many, many years. When Ellie was in high school, she was one of my favorite track athletes on my team. She has such a drive and a passion for life that is contagious to all those around her. I could not wait to meet the guy that she is going to marry. He had to be perfect too! Spending my morning with these two, anyone could how in love they are and how much they care about one another. Brendan definitely compliments Ellie and they are a perfect pair! I was so excited when she contacted me about photographing her wedding and it just so happened to be the last weekend I have available this upcoming Fall. Here are my favorites from their engagement session with me, I can’t wait for their wedding this October 217!

These two, so so so sweet and so much fun! The way the weather played out (we had to move our first date due to rain) and our schedules, we actually had their engagement on Friday before Christmas Eve. These two met me at Hopkins Vineyard to start their session before heading over to Angevine Farm for the other half! I had a great time playing in the snow on this warm December day. We walked around the vineyard, and caught some beautiful light there. Hannah and Nick really have a great connection that shines through their personalities and during their session. Nick also enjoys cool architecture and buildings so when we arrived at Angevine Farm, Mr. Angevine was able to tell him about the Christmas barn and it’s structure. Such a fun afternoon, can’t wait for their October 2017 wedding in Pennsylvania!
